Let's all be politically correct...Happy Holidays!!

Maybe I'm too sensitive so forgive me, but we need to remember that people on this board are from all over the world, different shapes, sizes and religions. Not everyone celebrates Christmas. If you are going to wish everyone a Merry Christmas wouldn't it be nicer and more inclusive to wish everyone happy holidays? JMHO.

Thanks for all the reasons to celebrate in December. Wouldn't it be more politically correct if, instead of censoring ourselves for what we believe, to accept each person for what they believe. If someone says to me, "Happy ......." and I don't celebrate that, then I simply say, "Thank you, same to you." Wouldn't it be more fun to share in the celebrations, then to be offended by them? Free food, I'm there.

Hey, I'm not ashamed to say Merry Christmas, Happy Hanuka, and happy anything else. No matter how you crack that nut, its fun to celebrate the joys of the season.

It doesn't really matter, I just think it's nice to acknowledge those that don't celebrate Christmas as well. I am Jewish and I celebrate Hanukah. My ex husband is Muslim and he doesn't celebrate anything around this time of year unless Ramadan falls in Deecember. To blanketly wish everyone a Merry Christmas is excluding those that don't celebrate it and being insensitive that there are other faiths on this board. I would never think of wishing someone that celebrate Christmas a Happy Hanukah. I would just say have a happy holiday.
