sirius satellite radio

anyone have this?

Geo bought it for me for my birthday. honestly, I had no idea it really existed.
However, I find it pretty neat.
I get all the NFL games, and something like 24 preset artists that the radio reminds me of when they are on....

so because music tells alot about a person....if you have this radio...who is in your favorites....here is mine...you might be surprised..

Alan Jackson
Toby Keith
Tim Mcgraw
Martina Mcbride
Hank Williams
David Alan Coe
Trying to get Travis Tritt
AC/DC
Pink Floyd
Ozzy
Aerosmith
Stones
Creedence (on the radio now) YouTube - Creedence Clearwater Revival - Have you ever seen the rain?
Van Halen
Guns and Roses
Led Zeppelin
The Kinks &
Lynyrd Skynyrd

I have XM in the house and in the car. Love it. I'm sure Sirius will be great.

I canceled my sirius account last Monday. I stopped using it for three months and it seems like a sinking ship that I poured money into. I'd rather send my money into Itunes. And, I have the Music channels on comcast so it evens out. I want to see about getting and HD radio. My sister has one and it's NEAT. There's all these extra channels on regular radio and they're free.

I listened too....

Jimmy Buffett...:)
Dean Martin and those types of singers. Bella loves it.
Country.
The Golden Oldies channel was good. I'll give them credit that it's better than the one on Comcast/WOGL 98. Eeeh, there's an AM station that places those though.
Howard Stern for a little bit. He ruined a good thing.
Jazz.
A little rap music for Bella.

Get an HD radio. Sirius/XM isn't worth the $12. :) I had it for four years and it just got irritating to sit there listening to the radio before the satillite clonked out and went elsewhere. If you live in the boonies it's fine but not really a good idea here. HD Digital Radio | DISCOVER IT! | HD Digital Radio

We had a sirius radio in a loaner car a few months back. We had the car for weeks since it took forever for them to repair my dads. I think it's great that they have no commercials. But personally, I think in the car it's stupid to spend $20+ a month on it. Plus there are so many music channels it's confusing. AND who doesn't like winning free stuff off the radio? lol

Hi Lisa!

I love my sirius radio!! I laughed at hubby when he got his....for Howard Stern. I just couldnt understand why he would pay for such garbage! Then last summer we went away. Listening to that radio helped so much through the drive...not having to search for other stations with each state we driove through...LOL

Oh, but this is about music...LOL.

Basically I listen to the 2 howard stern channals, the greatful dead channel, super shuffle, the 80's and 90's stations. Oh, and the nascar channel.

I love my radio...

We won the whole setup a few years ago but sold it to a friend because the reception was bad [we live in a heavily wooded ravine].Lisa, you can keep the first seven favorites on your list but everyone else rocks!

lisa and bekfreak, those are exactly the artists, i pictured you listening to.

i have an ipod with 6972 songs on it. it took from mid dec. 2006 til last week to listen to it all. thats 9 months without hearing the same tune twice. and the music is free if you get it at the library.
