Dashing through the bush, In a rusty Holden Ute, Kicking up the dust, Esky in the boot, Kelpie by my side, Singing Christmas songs, It’s summer time and I’m in My singlet, shorts and thongs. Oh! Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way. Christmas in Australia on a scorching summers day, Hey! Jingle bells, jingle bells, Christmas time is beaut! Oh what fun it is to ride in a rusty Holden Ute. Engine’s getting hot; We dodge the kangaroos, The swaggie climbs aboard, He is welcome too. wow! I can't imagine having Christmas during hot summer weather!
do you guys decorate your homes with lights too? or is that just a crazy Yank/winter thing?

OMG, that's perfect, Mike! You nailed Christmas in Australia!
 Love ya too! Smooches!!! Felis, yes some people do outdoor lights though not to the extent you find in the States. Just about everyone has a tree, mine has bird ornaments. The temps here have been over 90F all week, I just heard it will be over 100F on Christmas Day!

I have a turkey roast (the smaller kind that comes in an aluminium baking pan) that comes pre-stuffed and has a cranberry sauce. I just need some mashed potatoes, gravy and a veggie and a dessert and we are set! Provided of course I don't burn anything!
