Hidden Valley
I'm not sure if Hidden Valley has anything to do with the dressing, though I know that the company's base is within a few miles of us... But I'm not here to talk about the dressing! A while ago my family (my mother, my sis & her hubby, and I) went to Hidden Valley to view the lights. They normally have a competition there to see who can create the best light show on in the area...
and each house that has lights normally gets judged... It's quite the attraction area! Sadly though, since some people have moved on or passed away, it's not quite like it used to be... In the least bit, we did manage to get photos, and at least a few of them were good, so wanted to share some of this holiday show! I'll put up thumbnails, and under each photo there will be a link to view the photo in full size (800x600). Enjoy! (Oh and forgive me if some of the pics are "blurred" in any way... they are the best ones I was able to take while in a car!) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/09.../BlueHouse.jpg This was the brightest house in the entire area... It could be seen miles away as we drove up! ![]() http://img.photobucket.com/albums/09...uff/2Story.jpg ![]() http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/M.../2StoryBUs.jpg The two photos above are of a gorgeous house that was fantastically decorated! ![]() http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/M...tuff/White.jpg This house, although not that great, the white lights made it appear lovely! ![]() http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/M...tuff/Multi.jpg This house and yard were decorated with multi colored lights, and even had a sparkley snowman and a deer. The ground was covered, as was the tree and bushes! ![]() http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/M...Stuff/Rope.jpg Much of this property was decorated with rope lights. ![]() http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/M...uff/LTrees.jpg ![]() http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/M...ff/LTrees2.jpg The trees hid much of the decorated yard, but from what could be seen, even with trees that changed color, it was lovely! ![]() http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/M.../SnowGlobe.jpg Some of the houses even put up gigantic snowglobes! They are quite interesting, really! ![]() http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/M...Stuff/Tree.jpg Some places were not decorated as greatly, but some still were interesting to look at! ![]() http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/M...tuff/Santa.jpg This is a photo of "Santa's Study". Santa would look at his list, look up and wave, look to the left, and look back at the list. He even used both hands to move the list to check it... Needless to say, we couldn't make up our mind if he was 'real' or fake! ![]() http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/M...uff/Bright.jpg This photo wasn't taken in Hidden Valley, though I thought it still deserved attention, as it was the brightest house on that particular block! Hoped you enjoyed them! Happy Holidays!
