My company (cell phone store) is having an employee appreciation party Feb 4th. This year for a contest/game they are doing a knock off of "The Apprentice" My team has to raise money for a local dog rescue "One More Chance Rescue and Adoption" I need ideas for both a team name and ideas on how to raise money. We're meeting tomorrow. Our money raising ideas so far consist of: Taking pics of the animals and auctioning off the right to name them on ebay. Having a Dog Wash. A co-worker has a digi camera with a printing dock so we thought we could host a thing where we take pics of people's dogs and sell them for $5 and they would get their pics right there. Sell pawprints similar to the hot air balloons that wal-mart sells for donating. Have a bake sale with dog treats. Sell raffle tickets and split the money made between the winner and the rescue org. If anyone has any other ideas please share. Thanks so much.

I'd add a free dog scarf (buy cute material and cut it into triangle shapes) for those dog pictures and charge $10.00. Who can resist a picture of their own adorable doggie?

Make up doggie gift baskets with treats, bowls, food, leash, toys, etc. Get supply donations for the baskets from local shops, vets, etc. Sell tickets to raffle them off.

Make braided leashes to sell.

Thank you so much Karen. Our meeting ended up getting canceled yesterday so we haven't chose a name yet. I'll let you know as soon as we do. That's a really great idea about baskets to raffle. I have a friend who loves to sew I'm sure she could help me with scarfs. Thanks again.
