A moment of silence and prayer

If many of you watch CNN, you will already know what is going on. If you have not been then I will tell you. Here in WV, there was a coal mine explosion and 13 men were trap. After rescue efforts were made, the families were told that 12 of the 13 miners were alive Then after 30 minutes or more, sadly the families were informed that the earlier news of survivors was wrong. 12 of the 13 miners were dead and the only survivor is in critical condition. So I ask each OPL and BB member to have a moment of silence today and remember these families in your prayers

Oh no - I had the news on when I went to bed and heard that they had found one dead. Prayers for the families...............

Oh no.....Thanks for updating me I was rooting for them to get out . I will keep the families in my prayers God bless them. I am very sorry for their loss.

That is incredibly sad. I heard the news of 12 alive one dead and was ecstatic. This is just horrible.

I know the poor families. I could not even image one of them being my hubby. I am so glad that he quite working for the coal mines.

And the thing that is particularily tragic is that can you imagine breathing a sigh of relief thinking they were alive and then have your hopes brought crashing down like that. Such a sad story

It is truely heartbreaking...my thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in the community.

I went to bed last night praising God that the remaining 12 were found alive...to wake to such a shock of news this morning... it just can't be put into words.
