Uugh.
 There really is no excuse for such a poor showing, and for the first game of the series as well. I'm really not a baseball fan (or much of a sports fan, unless you count hiking and trying to keep Corina from chewing on my sneakers as a sport). But 11 to 1? Geez guys... don't let all of the mushy praise the Post has been heaping on you for the last couple of weeks go to your head. The Rockies are going to have to earn this one the hard way. Don't let all of that oxygen-rich air off the harbor down there in Boston make you giddy.Of course, let's see what happens when the Red Sox get to play at 5280 feet above sea level. I forsee a couple of nosebleeds. The tables may yet turn.

I am hope to see the rockies win it all... But they have to beat a solid sox team and can't play like that again if the yare going to win... They just need to steal one game from the red sox in boston and they should be ok.

Suspect my fids are going to go into withdrawal when the season is over. They all scream when the announcers' raise their voices for HOME RUN. Ah well, they will adjust, and spring training does start in Feb!
