Hello Melw, nice to see you again. Yes she calls the dog, she actually knows which one is Summa, when she sees that dog she calls "Umma, Umma". Did I tell you (or did you read) about me feeding my dogs the other day??

I will quickly tell it just in case you did not see it. I have to walk past Skye's cage to get to the front verandah (that is where I feed the dogs). As I walked past Skye's cage with the bag of bones, she yelled "Umma"...........I looked at her and thought ...coincidence, but cute anyway. Then I called Summa.......................and Skye yelled "come on"..............then I yelled Summa again, and Skye yelled "come on", then she yelled "Mysta (my other dog)........come on". I was very surprised, she is talking more and more in context now and she says many many more words.

I have not been here or posted here for some time now, but I will also share that Rani my alexandrine is talking too now. I have heard her say Hello and step up. She is a softly spoken bird though..............unlike my loudmouthed ekkie girl, who can be heard "talking" not screaming from the front gate very clearly and loudly...............that's my girl.
