LOL Mike!
I don't personally use msn.... for some reason I have so many problems with it! Instead, I use Trillian! Which, by chance supports MSN, YM, and AIM all in one window which literally runs in the background! Works for my needs and keeps similar type chats together in one window!

LOL, Monica! You're a busy lady! I've had ICQ since the numbers were only 5 digits long, and I STILL only open it once/yr or so. I used to hang out in a graphical chat called The Palace (indeed, I met my Scottish spouse that way, who immigrated to this country after our marriage in Edinburgh), but we never seem to have the time to keep up with online chats and the like, nowadays, either. How do you keep up with so many chats? You must be young, gregarious and very popular :-). I'm just a cranky old thing who only lives for family (clothed, feathered and furred), and who has lost track of what once was a lot of "virtual" friends.... We both post in our chosen forums (politics for spouse, dogs and birds for me), and that's about it.

LOL Well, that's partly true! Trillian can support MSN, YH, AIM, IRC, and ICQ. I don't know what IRC is, and I no longer use ICQ. On my combined lists I do have at least 78 people, but on average I only talk to 2-3 max a day... but generally speaking, I hardly talk to anyone on the lists! So because I hardly even chat with any of the, that's how I can "keep up" with so many!
Indeed though, I am young (17, soon to be 18), and am popular, but mainly on bird forums! I do have a lot of friends where I'm at but I hardly leave my home because we've got so many animals to take care of, there's house cleaning, and I've got knee problems among all things... In the least bit though, I am the main caretaker of all our animals (12 birds, 3 dogs one of which is a puppy, and two cats... I normally leave the cats to my sister and mother though!). I don't really mind it though, as they keep me happy and they enjoy it here!

Awww, Monica--you're my youngest son's age! He turned 17 in January, and spends a lot of time online with his H.S. friends and others. He uses AIM, Yahoo something or other and MySpace. He never uses the phone--just messages his buds :-).
You remind me of myself when I was your age. I was in charge (despite having 2 sisters and a brother living in the same household) of feeding and caring for 3 horses, >100 chickens and ducks, 2 dogs, several assorted rabbits, Dog knows how many cats, the neighbor's cow and pinto horse, and a pig. I quit with the pig when I found out why my parents named him "Pork Chop".... I don't want to make friends with my dinner, if you know what I mean. Plus the parents didn't really care if we kept whatever we could catch from the wild, so long as no one bothered them at their pub du jour, so at times I had "pets" like opossums, bobcats, a bat, snakes, salamanders and the occasional field mouse. I loved the beastly beasties, and missed them dearly when I moved out after graduation. I'm sure that's the reason I have such a love for furred and feathered ones to this day :-).
