Question TINKER TOYS as BIRD TOYS

Does anyone remember the classic wooden, build anything toy, Tinker Toys? I use to love these things. As I'm trying to come up with new ways to create things for my IRN, these came to mind. Wooden toys, round, holes in them. So I hit the internet and found them at Toys R Us, for a price of course, but worth looking into. The stix in them are painted, and since they are child friendly, do y'all think they're bird friendly? I wanted to ask before I drove way over yonder and buy them and they not be safe. If nothing else, the round pices would be since they are natural n all.

Since the paint is kid-safe, it's non toxic. Everyone knows little kids put everything in their mouths, haha! I would think it's bird safe as well.

They are indeed safe for birds. The newer sets have some plastic pieces, but building a play structure for your bird with these is fine and quite fun for you to do as it will take you back to being a kid.

If it makes any difference, they have something very similar to that for birds, just not so "advanced"!!!

That's a very clever idea! When the birds destroy them, you can put them back together again!

Just wish our local wal mart sold them. :( I have to go about 40 or so miles to this crowded town and blah blah blah! I hate traffic, I love small towns! LOL
