How do you make your own avatar?I have a picture and just need to set it.

I think you have to be a supporting member to do this, although some of the old-timers on the board got grandfathered on that or something. If you go to your User CP, on the list of links on the left side under miscellaneous you'll see one for "paid subscriptions". That'll take you to where you can subscribe for either 6 months or a year. Once that takes effect, you'll have the option to upload a custom avatar from the "edit avatar" link at the CP.

Yes, you do need to be a Supporter to have a custom avatar as Nate said.
