Trading Spouses-bird sighting

Just now, I was reading Birdboard and had the tv on in the background. It was Foxtel W channel-a show from the States called "Trading Spouses". I was only half watching when I heard this "shock-horror Freddy Kruger" type music. I looked up and much to my surprise, saw one of the Moms who swapped places screaming in terror at the sight of a sweet little pied Cockatiel!

The two Moms are Diane (scared of Tiel) and Veronica-did anyone else see this episode? I was so busy laughing, I didn't notice if the Tiel had enough toys, I do think his cage was too small. They didn't show the Tiel in the rest of the episode, but it's a two-parter so hopefully they will show that bit next week when they recap.

OK, they showed part 2. The Tiel isn't seen again. I think they moved him to a friend's house while Diane was there because you never hear him chirping. The scene where Veronica returns to her family, the minute she gets there and starts squealing excitedly and hugging her kids, you can hear the Tiel.

I actually remember seeing that.

It wasn't nearly as bad as the woman on Maury Povich who wouldnt even leave her house because she was scared she might see a bird. She even told her kid that she couldnt take her to the park because "the park costs too much money", trying to convince her that they charged to get into a public park.... because she was afraid of birds outside. It was actually rather sad.

They cured her of "bird phobia" by the end of the show though.

LOL, God help anyone who moves to Australia and is scared of birds! They're everywhere!
