Real Estate agent is coming.........

We didnt get the orders to move yet, but we are waiting for a meeting between the Army and the guys waiting to transfer. I *thought* it was going to be this week.....

But I chose to call the Real estate in, with them knowing, that we do not have definite orders to move in our hands, but wanted them to come tell us what this house is worth.

Our last move happened so quick,and we didnt get a chance to look before we bought....thats not happening again.

She is coming on Friday, and this will tell me exactly what price range I am in for the new house.

Our Mortgage company sent us paperwork for the next mortgage
I gather because George contacted them to tell them of the possible move, and to see if they would approve us for a bit more...and they did

I was just kidding. I wouldn't pay $430,000 for the house. It's a horrible location... but it has that much-desired Island Heights address.

I used to live down there - Long Beach Island - People pay a TON for that area! Baffling!

Kris, the prices are still baffling. And rather sad....considering we have the highest property tax rates, and highest insurance rates in the country.....
for what .....................NJ?
We will be retiring out of state in the next 5 - 7 years.



So the real estate was here, and we are VERY happy with what she said. She really liked the house, and it is in VERY good shape with LOTS of upgrades and we do have a second full bath downstairs in the finished basement/workshop area. Most homes in this area are from older people moving out with no upgrades from the 70's. Being we redid all the room with the exception of my bedroom(was going to be done this summer) it improved the price of our house dramatically. We will be listing higher then expected. So we are in a decent price range to look out in the shore area, and as long as we get an army move, we should be good!!!
George has his meeting with the army next friday at 10am.
One more week to go before I know for sure if I am moving or staying.

ps...she really liked the birds...and she said the bird room sink, DID not take away from the value as we had expected.
