will this help? I don't know a THING about tatooing, but this might be able to give you a 'clean slate' to work with...

That said, it's best that you find a design or image that you like. This is your body. And unless you want to spend thousands of dollars and multiple sessions under a laser, a tattoo is forever.

Errr... What? A traditional rainbow is not a symbol of being G/L/B/T. Here's a link that describes the Pride rainbow: http://jasewells.com.

The rainbow flag has become the easily-recognized colors of pride for the g** community. The multicultural symbolism of the rainbow is nothing new — Jesse Jackson's Rainbow Coalition also embraces the rainbow as a symbol of that political movement. The rainbow also plays a part in many myths and stories related to gender and sexuality issues in Greek, Native American, African, and other cultures.

FWIW, many folks in the G/L/B/T community have adopted the SONG "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" of an anthem of sorts. Whether it's b/c the song has the rainbow in it, the story in the lyrics or b/c Judy Garland sings it is speculation at best. Maybe that's where you confusion stems from. Enjoy your tattoo -- there's nothing offensive about being G/L/B/T... or about having a rainbow tattoo.

I know that. I love mine, I just don't like where it's at.

OK - so lets see the tattoo as it stands right now!
There are a lot of creative types here - maybe someone will have a brilliant idea.

I think that a lot of people like tattoos but '1' often needs balance so more are necassary - the body is like a composition & can look awkward with one part standing out. I had a friend with the most beautiful branch with blue birds sitting among the leaves, on the back of his right shoulder - but for some wierd reason he was reluctant to show it
- & boy it wasn' t because he was ugly or anything.
