I knew the 100yrs war (ex-history major ), the canary islands one, and the October revolution question.....wow...maybe I did learn something in college! Who'd have thought?!?

I didn't remember how long the 100yrs war lasted (even though we are getting into it slightly in history now, haven't really read up on it... lol), Canary Islands, knew that one (Canine! dogs of course! so canaries were named after dogs! lol) though had forgotten it! And for Chinese Gooseberries, a.k.a. Kiwi fruit origions are actually from China or Asian countries, though it was New Zealand who had improved the gooseberries taste and shelflife later renaming it after the kiwi (bird), and called it the kiwifruit! As for the blackbox, if I thought about it, I might have remembered... Oh, and the purple finch? I was going to say red... as they are similar to house finches... oh well! LOL

So to say, I would have only gotten one or two right if I didn't think about it, but if I really thought about the quiz, I would have gotten more!!!
