Hey Keev and Kevin! Birdboard Oscars???
Hi guys, I was just wondering if we can have a Birdboard Oscars competition, now that more of us are getting familiar with the use of digital camcorders and uploading media? Maybe have it in March along with the real Oscars with a ceremony and everything? All clips posted before the cut-off date are eligible (make cut off like 2 weeks before the real Oscars)?
You 2 guys nominate and let the members of BB vote or something like that? This could be an annual event and would encourage more people to learn to post videos to share. Wouldn't it be fun? Possible categories: Best camcorder video Best digital camera clip Best bird actor Best comedy Best talking bird Best human bird interaction Best director Best special Effects Any more? We don't need financial prizes-a virtual Oscar would be fine! We could have an online ceremony and post pics of our virtual Oscar red carpet attire too! 8) Just another crazy Tiki idea!

Now that the real Oscar nominations have been announced, can we revive this idea? There is still time for people to get their videos in....if you guys like the idea?
Maybe allow a week for more people to post videos, then the Kevins can nominate and the general population can vote, same as the Christmas contest? We could even have a dedicated "award ceremony" with members posting pics in red carpet attire...it would be fun! I really don't care about a financial award, I'm in it more for fun.
