Strange sunset pic

I took this pic while practicing driving with my daughter. Look at all the orbs! I took several pics and this is the only one with orbs. We were on a back country road. Also see if you can find the lion?

How can you tell if they are orbs or dust? To me, they both look similar and I dont' know how to tell them apart until someone explains it to me...

And yes, I saw the lion...(very..right in your face too)

Yep, sure can see the lion. Those definitely look like distinct orbs...other particles may be dust.

Ps. Where was this picture taken...what state? Is this 'area' known for 'activity'????
