I'm a hack writer. I write web content and newsletters for website owners. It's a great gig, as I get to work from home, so the fids are out all day long.

Let' see--my wife's an English instructer at the local college (just got tenure! Woo-hoo!), I've got a daughter who'll be fourteen this year and a twelve year old sone with Asperger's syndrome. Working at home has been great because there's always someone here for the kids (and the fids, and the cats, and the rabbits and the . . . .) and when my wife was offered the college job we didn't have the my career / your career conflict--I just grabbed my laptop and we moved.

I'm a "retired" avian behaviorist who used to own her own bird toy business. But I became ill, so now I'm on disability

what does everyone do for a living

I live in Brighton Englands South coast,I spent many years travelling with the "Military" and then with "Security services" (Personal security specialist) Due to a misdiagnosed spine fracture I am now disabled,I spend most of my time at home with "Rudy, and Rosie" Crimson Rosaelas; And Blue my Pennant Rosaela. Rosie and Blue I have only just purchased a week ago!! I also re-home Birds as my local pet shop knows how much I love them!!I had an African Grey until Christmas eve 06 I had to drive her 30 miles to the nearest Avain vet (cost me £300) any ways my "Smokie" died about 20 minutes Later I do not regret spending the money as Smokie had been my companion since I was born(used to sleep at the end of my cot) Iam in my mid 40s Drive a ford focus and have my other baby "A 635 csi Bmw m6" its a 87 model (a future classic?)

I actually have a summer job now. I'm pretty limited because of my age but I work as in the games department at Six flags Great Adventure =D It's an awesome job. I've met tons of new friends and I always have fun at work!

What a great idea in starting this forum...... I am a paediatric occupational therapist. I too at times am able to take my fids to work on special occasions... not only do the fids love it but the kids are so good with them.... who said that dogs can be the only therapy animals?

Anyways, here's to a great group! Cheers!

Well, being a senior in high school, I don't have a career yet. I started doing some of my generals done last year for college, and I'll continue to do that this year as well. Afterwards, I'm going to college to be a vet. Eventually I'll become an avian specialist. :)

What do I do currently? I work at Petsmart and Cookies By Design (decorated cookies on a stick made into bouquets)
