LOST - episode 2!

I LOVED this episode! Extremely well done, in my opinion!

Sun, you little lying skank! But I still love her character, go figure! Interesting flashback – was Jae pushed off the balcony or did he jump…? I was SO glad that Sun shot that chick on the boat!! Sun has been a silent force to reckon with thus far but I think she’s going to prove herself much more to come. As she fell into the water I did immediately panic thinking she had been shot and OMG – could they REALLY kill off Sun and so suddenly?! But then I relaxed and remembered she’s pregnant and I doubt they will off her before the baby is born at the very least. Whew!

LOVED the Sawyer and Kate scenes – first and foremost, sweaty Sawyer = Mmmmmmmm!! Damn! And that kiss was hot. “You taste like fish biscuits.” LOL. Loved when Sawyer layed the smack down on the Others and revealed to Kate that he was indeed testing their strength, and he’s very observant as well. If only Benry couldn’t overhear their conversations from the cages. Damn.

I am confused about a couple things – how could Benry’s clan NOT know about Desmond’s boat?! Desmond was there for 3 frickin’ years and Kelvin was repairing the boat and had it docked forever. The location of the boat was not that far from the Swan station, which is not all that far from Otherville. Come on, the Others are supposed to be soooo savvy about the island.

How could Jin at least not realize that the Others can travel by water? He saw the Tugboat that they captured Walt with, how could he possibly think that Sun was so safe out on the boat? For Sayid to be so naïve as well was very disappointing to me. I expect more from Sayid!

I’m glad we finally saw Alex and that she appears to want to help Kate or at least be nice to her.

I still love me some Benry, he’s just a great actor and creepy as all hell. He has lived in the island his whole life?? Hmmmm….not sure what to make of that….I do like Juliet’s character as well. She brings in a whole new element of maliciousness. Very mysterious and I am intrigued by her and her motives.

Great last scene between Jack and Benry, just great. Although Jack is not my favorite character, I love it when he laughs at the Others as he did in the Red Sox scene. And I don’t believe for ONE SECOND that they intend to let Jack go home to the real world. I DO NOT believe that Walt and Michael were just let go and sent home – they know how special Walt is, they’re not going to give him up just like that!

Tying this in with the good old X-Files theology:
“The best place to hide a lie is between two truths.”

I think that the Others are messing with Jack, Kate, and Sawyer’s minds in this respect.

I am SOOOO looking forward to next week! I can’t wait to see my dears Locke and Desmond!! And the monster looks like he’s back, oh my!

I don't watch Lost but your enthusiasm is very fun.

I recently found a show that's fun too - Eureka! I guess I like it because the hero is not the 'brainy' one in town.

Yes, Sun is a lying little skank - whom we all still love. I also think the glass ballerina was done to show tha Sun has had a looong history of lying and not taking responsibility for her actions. I think Jae jumped...unable to live without Sun...and she never took responsibility for that either. LOTS of meaning behind their conversation with and around Sayid.

Always love Sawyer's colorful script! He called Kate Shortcake after he said she tasted like Strawberries...*swoon*
And we loved the "You taste like Fishbiscuits" line so much, we played it back over and over on the radio today!

This is already SUCH a great season...

I thought Ep. 2 was better than the premiere even (I did like the premiere though). I thought it could go either way with introducing the Others like they have, it could be either really cheesy or they could get it right on the money. So far I like what I'm seeing.

I can't wait to see Locke and Desmond next week! I want Locke to rebound from his rock-bottom that he hit at the end of last season. I want to see more of Locke The Man, Locke who is so in tune with the island. I hate seeing him so doubtful and weak.

I just love this show! It is a bit confusing getting to know the new people and what motivates them. I do hope we get a few answers this season though and not more questions.
