does anybody use the BB Chat?

It tends to be popular on Friday and Saturday evenings east coast USA time. You would probably be sleeping then, UK is what, 5 or 6 hours ahead?

I dropped by a few times but my spelling/typing are poor - however it was very funny & you never know who's going to show up [apparently you've been unlucky].
I emailed some members who have the same interests to try in the mornings our time but since then I've not been on at that time at all - I can never make plans without changing them.

Just keep dropping in & the chat will probably start - probably now that you've spoken up it will change - it always works for me. [perverse]

I don't really know anyone here that well yet and I'm not very active on BB but I have stopped to check it out. No one was on, so I left. I will probably eventually get into a chat when I get to know everybody a bit better.

I go on it but no one seems to be there so I leave. But once in a while someone is there but they leave.

I think as we all seem to use the threads to 'talk' we probably are too spoiled to use the Chat. I noticed on other boards that they try & keep the threads clear of 'chat'. But honestly I like the relaxed attitude here.

The proper way to use the chatroom is to invite folks to come in about an hour before you plan to go in. That gives people available to talk time to make arrangements to get in there.

Friday nights, late, are usually a good time to check it out. Remember, however, that many of us live in different parts of the world. Consequently what may be 8 PM your time could be midnight my time.
