So far it is so much better then the patch. I used the patch and Welbutrin the last time I stopped and the Welbutrin doesn't sit well with me. The first two days after stopping were the only real hard ones so far and they weren't that bad. The insane cravings went away a lot faster. Chantix is a three month program that comes with a 24/7 hot line for a year.

congrats, jim... keep it up a day at a time!! it's great and i wish you all the will strength and energy to keep it up, especially since i know how hard it is! (i have to admit though that i failed - i'm down to 3/day though and my final last cig will be on the day of my phd defense the latest, so in a year!)
