My new camera

I got an early christmas present today that had me doing a snoopy dance of joy. I had to share!
A brand new Canon Digital Rebel with a 28-200mm compact hyperzoom macro. After six years with an old FD78 mavica I am in total awe of this camera.

Thanks. I thought I wanted another Mavica, The CD500 until I picked up the Rebel in the camera shop. Once I got it in my hands all thoughts of the Mavica CD500 flew out of my head. The best part is the whole camera and everything I needed to go with it was a gift from my boss.

Sweet Lynda! I got my digital cam for Christmas too...but got it on Election night...lol. Dopey hubby still hasn't learned he can't tell me he has a gift and not actually GIVE it to me! I had it in hand about 15 minutes after he walked in the door...least he gave in alot faster than normal...hehe.

Thanks everyone. I spent the whole day out at the state park taking pictures. It takes so long to download them, well it does when you are downloading 150.
The one thing I loved about my mavica was the instant gratification when I popped the floppy in the drive. I am not used to drumming my fingers for my pics.

LOL Char, I am like the number two poster in the albums. I have over a hundred of my fids posted. I figured you all would be sick of them by now.
I have a bunch from my new camera I need to upload.

I also got a new Digital Camera but nothing too spectacular. Got the Minolta g600, 6mp. I also ordered some great photo equipment also though. Just waiting for my deliveries.
