Stunning Watercolor Art
I don't know if there might be someone out there who might like this woman's paintings--but I love them! Just bought a gorgeous watercolor original of a Scarlet Macaw in the rain from her. See pic below.
Anyway, here are some links to her work you might like. One is a Yellow Nape Amazon, and one is a particularly stunning painting of a TAG. She does incredible work, both the small art cards, and the larger paintings, of which these two are examples. Anyway, if you're interested, here they are :-): http://cgi.ebay.com/YELLOW-NAPED-AMA...QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/African-Grey-PAR...QQcmdZViewItem

Yeah, I like it lots, 'tho' Dog knows where I'll find wall space for it :-).
Watercolor is a difficult medium to work with--you have to plan well in advance how you're going to bring a work to life, and then you have to get the timing and technique down just so, or it just doesn't look right. It's not a forgiving medium, either--because the colors are translucent, you can't just paint over the top of a mistake and have it disappear, like you can with oils or acrylics. More work in the planning than the execution, in some ways, and you have to get it right the first time. Some people (like me! LOL!) don't seem to know when they're done, and things look overworked. This artist seems to have it down to a very fine art.
