Just got a call...
From my sister. I tried to convince my mother to stay down here for the winter. She insisted on going back to Ohio and I guess that was a good thing.
My sister just called saying my uncle died, (moms brother) My mom would have been here if I had talked her into staying. Guess i'll be taking a trip to the winter wonder land for a funeral.

Sorry for your loss. Think you are saying that your mom had a chance to say good bye because she did not stay with you? Isn't it amazing how some things are meant to be. Hope he had good years & enjoyed them all.
