Dream world

I think we have covered this topic before but I keep having terrible dreams about my two GCCs. There is always something happening to them and I have to spend the whole dream trying to protect them. I don't have nightmares about my kids just the birdies. Last night, in my dream I had to protect Carmela from flying through the front door (I have been trying to decide if I should get her wings clipped or not). Another time there was a dream about them getting stepped on .
Do all birdowners have these nightmares?

Claudia,I have very vivid dreams about my birds as well.I had a tiel that I was very bonded to that had to go live with another family[due to my husband's asthma].In my dreams she visits me and talks [in human speach]about her life as if we were girlfriends.She reasures me she is happy and always promises to return.Last week I dreamed of a female Ekkie[not mine]who could change into a guinea pig at will.It helps me to spend my last few waking minutes thinking positive thoughts.If your kids are getting older and needing you less could the dreams be a response to your need to be needed?Just a thought.
