hehehe....the magic of EBAY. I got it as a BUY IT NOW item.....for .99....WOW you say! The shipping was................$59.99 LOL...so it actually cost me around $60.00 But it is hand made, and it is stunning. Beautiful work, Im sure it would be much more if you were to buy it in a store.

I went to leave the lady feedback, but she is no longer a registered member, and her store is gone. Shame, she had some beautiful stuff.

Probably enough people reported her excessive shipping charges so she was thrown off eBay.

You'll see the same problem with cages and toys and accessories. They'll ask $20 for a cage and $150 for shipping, when it should cost under $50 to mail.

ya eBay is cracking down on those people... but not to our benefit, but to theirs. You see ebay makes a percentage off the sale of the item. But they make nothing off of the shipping charges. So sellers will cheat the system by selling an item for next to nothing and make their profits "free of charge of eBay" by just putting that into the shipping. This type of "working the system" means literally millions of dollars in lost revenue to eBay and Paypal.

There are just some greedy people out there, because truth is... the amount that eBay and Paypal keeps as a fee is very reasonable (actually very cheep).

I'm sure because of all the scandal made out of this and there being no way to monitor and levy all those auctions... Eventually people will be charged fee's that include selling & shipping costs both or eBay will force users to use shipping services provided thru eBay. When that happens the honest sellers will be the ones getting the "shaft" and the buyers will be paying higher prices to cover lost earnings on the sellers part.
