-18F and 18" new snow! Brrrr..... and still snowing!

I woke up this morning to -18F and 18 inches of new snow. Needless to say, I'm so pleased to own a large 4x4 Dodge Truck. I was able to get to work at least. Check it out!

Nooo... I'm just kidding, I stole that pic off the web... I have a standard Dodge 4x4... but today I wish I had that truck pictured... It would've made getting across the packed snow even easier.

Anyhow, I was wondering how the weather affects everyone else and if they still take their fids with them "out on the town"/to the local store as they do normally? And do you find your fids seem to be "depressed" because you can't take them outside as much?

Of course, those of you who are fortunate enough to not experience "winter" like us northerners are just going to make fun of us all now aren't you? LOL.

Nice Pic.

I live on the S tip of Florida...my bird loves nothing better however than bathing in a dish full of ice and water. It's as close to snow as I get anymore.

I used to ranch over by fairview mt. There were lots of times I wanted big tires like that. They used to deliver my mail on an old Co-op tractor with a pontiac rearend when we got that kind of snow.

Have fun playing in it.

It's heading into the mountains of Colorado, but Denver will be flake-free!

the macaws love the snow when we get it and some of the toos dive in it like it was a swimming pool.

send some to texas, Koko (M2) likes to slide around on his belly like he is body surfing when we get a couple of inches of white.

Anything below 50 degree's aint for me in the winter time... I am spoiled with good weather my whole life that when faced with cold weather I just pack up and say bye bye and fly home.

Don't come to Northern Minnesota then Kevin. We had a slight 37 below zero a week ago.

I want it to snow here so bad it hurts.

5 feet of snow would make me happy, i have plenty of food and a good generator so i can den up for a couple of months with no problem.
