Here's how my day went...

Which is basically how my life goes.

I wake up at 5 AM, roll over, feel terribly dizzy and upset to my stomach. I get up to get a glass of water and go pee and lay back down and finally fall asleep.
Wake up again at 6:30 AM when my alarm goes off, get up, almost fall over and stumble all over because I'm terribly dizzy...which is making me feel like throwing up. I basically felt like I had a terrible hang over. Just like that, actually.
Call off work and take a sick day.
Eventually start to feel better.....
Get a call from UPS Freight that the driver is here. Greet the driver, but he's a total jerk to me (as most UPS drivers/deliverers). He won't bring the cage (which is in 3 MASSIVE boxes tied and strapped to a wooden pallette). I drag all this into my apartment then drag the pallette to the dumpster. Fine, that's over with.
I come in and my roommate comes in and tells me him and his fiance are getting their own place in May when our lease is up (eventhough they promised to renew in May). I have my budget planned out with the ammount of money I spend on rent right now (4 people spiltting $1100ish...so $260ish). It is impossible to find an okay one bedroom apartment any where around here (meaning my commute to work wouldn't be THAT long) for under $750. So, basically we're screwed. Anyhow, we're still desperately going out looking for apartments Sunday.
So THEN I open the boxes full of the cage pieces and parts.....I'm missing the bottom grate, there is a rust hole in one of the panels, and there's a big dent on another one of the panels. I should get my replacement panels next week..

So I have all this on top of all my usual stressors, which, I'm sure a lot of you are already aware of

Sorry, I just had to vent. What an atrocious day.

Awww Missi, what an awful way to start the weekend! But put some faith into the belief that when 1 door closes another opens...or at least a window! lol I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason...unfortunately we usually aren't aware of that reason until years later! Missi, You might be able to rent a house for a reasonable rent right now since the market everywhere in FL is so flat. You might still have to get a roommate but you might have more elbow room.

i hope you feel better missi. is that an every morning thing that you feel ill and dizzy or just occasionaly? I used to feel ill if I ate too close to going to bed at night, I would feel alright when i went to sleep but would wake up feeling ill in the morning.

I do need to remember that everything happens for a reason, and that God has a plan for me, but sometimes things just get so over whelming, it's hard to think positive!

Today IS a new day! I'm not dizzy. I'm a little tired because I went to sleep late, but that's okay. Time to get up with a new positive attitude and DO IT!

Gini, that's a good idea, however we do not know of anyone who needs roommates right now. Also, I don't want to live with some stranger, not with Jazzy in the house. I would be constantly worried (did they lock the doors? what kind of friends are they having over, would they bother Jazzy? Etc lol)

My boyfriend and I are going out Sunday to look all over at apartments. We found some one bedroom apt.s online for $750 a month, so it's worth a look. That will involve some major budget redoing, however I recently got a very generous raise......

.....Yea, things do happen for a reason It'll still be tough, and money will be VERY tight as usual, but not impossible.

Oh Missi. I'm so sorry that you had such a rotten day yesterday. I am glad that you have a great new attitude about it now though. Everything will be fine. After it's all said and done you'll think, "What was I so upset for?" Trust me. Good luck house hunting this weekend! You'll find something great I'm sure! Big hugs to you and Jazzy!!
