Snow storm!

Their saying 10-14 inches of snow here in Central Illinois. With winds up to 30 mph. Isn't that crazy! (Well it's crazy for here anyone.) Any one else in the blizzard?

Kris

We're supposed to get 8 inches tonight and tomorrow here in Indianapolis. I'm glad we're all stocked up with food and firewood! Not that I expect we'll really get snowed in, but always best to be prepared -- especially since there are few things better than having a nice fire and a cup of cocoa while watching the snow fly.

Been there, done that, bought the plane ticket out of town! Must admit I miss that wonderful time when it quiets down and the snow is clean and fresh and it is all peaceful and beautiful. Make a snow angel for me!

We're supposed to get a foot by tomorrow. I had to come in to work today but hope to leave early. I'm most likely going to take a snow day tomorrow.

We may be in for it as well - I hear that Hamilton (just southwest of us) is already suffering. I was out this morning feeding our local pigeons - a little extra on days like these & all you could see of me was a glimpse of my eyes. By the time i got home I couldn't feel my legs. -28C wind chill (-11C out of the wind) & up to 30cm of snow predicted & high winds. & of course our car is in the shop & my husband has to go to a meeting north of Toronto tonight - i may have to barricade the exit so he can't go.......someone has to be the voice of reason!
