I listen to pretty much anything except rap music. I will listen to some but not the really bad stuff.

jazz, celtic, new wave, new age, old rock, pop instermental, perry como, easy listening, theraputic stuff, soft sound affects, like water falls, and birds, and etc. i have 6800+ songs on my 30 gig ipod, its almost full.

Pretty much anything EXCEPT Rap..Hip-Hip..Grunge.Heavy Metal. And most of the new stuff..I really haven't heard anyone lately that I would listen too regularly or buy their music. The last CD I bought was the soundtrack for Walk The Line..we have bought old, old records/tapes from estate sales though.

Right now Sydney and I are listening to a CD..The Best of Scottish Pipes & Drums. Though Sydney doesn't seem to appreciate the bagpipes as much as I do

So when it's done I'll find some old Bing Crosy and put that on for him..seems to like it better because Der Bingle whistles in many of his songs.

My musical tastes are quite varied....from the Andrew sisters to Zepplin.

There are some types I'm not too fond of...
Grundge/Heavy Metal for example.
Rap is another.
It's not singing, it's talking fast to someone else's background music.
Country & Western is goes against my grain too. It's "horseback music." When ya listen to it, ya can tell how fast the horse was going when the song was written.

I'm an Indie girl. Stars, Of Montreal, Damien Rice, Final Fantasy and Belle and Sebastian are a few favorites. I also have a few guilty pleasures like Justin Timberlake though. I really don't like rap, but a bit now and then is fine. I also like the classic stuff- Led Zepplin, The Beatles etc etc but I HATE country and heavy metal.
