Oh man I miss Aldi! We don't have them in Florida Best generic food EVER!

I remember, though. You have to use a box, bring your own bags, or buy them!

The last time we were at Ikea I don't remember them having bags at all. I think more stores should charge for them - and give you a discount for bringing your own bag like they do at Whole Foods.

Same here too! I cannot go into that store and not buy something! Usually something big, lol.

Our local Aldi charges for bags to. Not a new concept, I actually think it is a great idea. I hate it when you go to the store and they put something tiny like a card in a big bag.

Since I typically just run into Whole Foods for one or two things at a time, I have one really old plastic bag of theirs that I keep re-using. I suspect the cashiers are thinking I need to replace it. But as long as it still works, I'm happy. I'll start using a cloth one when this one finally gives out.

Back in the upper Midwest where I grew up there is a chain like Target that's called ShopKo. I remember they used to recycle those bags and my mom and I were always going over there to jam some more bags into their bin. But then they stopped and we were left with all those bags. Depressing....

Some of the grocery chains, here in utah, will give you a nickle credit for each bag you bring back and reuse.

I love Ikea. I hate the idea of paying for plastic bags, but the last couple times I have been to Ikea they didn't seem to have any bags anyway. I saw someone else mentioned that too. We reuse our plastic bags for just about everything. When we had a cat they were great for putting her kitty waste in. The worst would be when the bag would have an unseen hole in it and then you'd be walking shedding litter (and worse) all over the place. It never failed that I would get out of her room before I noticed.

I feel kind of stupid but I would still love to know where
