Custom Avatar

Hi everyone, I am new to this site and was wondering if anyone knows how to make a custom avatar.

I looked at the FAQs but could not find how to do this, anyone who can help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't see a way to do it. Must have been an option at one time since some members have custom avatars.

I also uploaded a signature picture that does not show up on my posts. But it's there in my signature in the users CP.

I do believe to use a custom avatar you need to be a bird board supporter.

I think it's also important to know that being a supporter isn't just about being able to have your own custom avatar - but it helps with the costs of birdboard to keep it up and running!

Hi welcome. I believe you have to be a paid subscriber. On the top were it says Home BBChat...etc etc click on the green "Donate" then I believe if you make a donation to the board, you can customize your avatar. If not, you can choose one of the board ones.

You are absolutely right stepht25, it is important to be a supporter of the board. Think of how much harder it would be to raise our fids with others insight.

karen774 sent me instructions how make it work.

Here's a pic what to do.



When you click on it the proper "SIGPIC" HTML code will be inserted in the signature. You can move that around where you like it before or after the text of your signature.

Also make sure under "Edit Options" you have "Show Signatures" checked.

Not positive about this, but I think you have to subscribe through the "paid subscriptions" link in the User CP. I believe the "Donate" button is for just that, a donation.
