insulation

Hi all we wanted to add insulation to our garage,our house is new but thought it would be better to blow in more as Hubby uses it alot and dogs hang out too,so the problem is the bird room is above the garage when I ask him to check it with the insulation folks as to the safety,they said no as it contains boric acid and when blown in it would be in the air,any ideas? it would really help with heat and cool of both areas but don't want to endanger my babies!!!

could he use rolls of insulation instead of having it blown in?

Best thing to do is call your vet. I would be conserned with the type blown in as to get it in the air. Even the kind on the roll will put some in the air, but I know we have used that in the past when adding more.

We had some blown in. YUCK. Get the rolls, the other stuff is a mess! Call your vet though, just to see.
