Unwanted Visitors!

Some of us were discussing in another thread about us rather having FIDS over kids cause we're better parents to the FIDS. Anyway, I hope you all read this that was in that discussion because you will all get a good laught out of this one! We had to replace our bathroom floor this weekend. My boyfriend is Geoff, his bestfriend is Don who helped Geoff. Don's girlfriend had to work on Saturday so Don brings over with him, her son who is 9 maybe 10 years old.

Well this little kid had no clue how to go outside and entertain himself. My two outdoor cats fled the scene. I guess they sensed the evil in the area! He comes in and attempts to pick up my over weight Dachshund, and I tell him "Put her down!!!!!!!" He drops my dog. He laughs, I tell don, "control ur brat dude, he hurts one of my pets i'm beating his a$$!" I leave the guys to the work that lay before them. I go to my birdie room to get on the computer, and the brat wanted to get on my computer and I was saying NOOOOOO. I sit him down in front of the tv with Transformers to watch.

My birds were in a rage over the noise that was going on in my house. The bathroom is next door to them. My IRN was just a fussing. About 45 mintues later the brat just bust into the room, I have a latch on the door and he just busts into the room and he rips the latch out of the door and wall. That freaked my birds out. My dog scarlet is in there with me hiding from this kid now. I yell at him "What do you think you're doing?" He laughs this evil laugh now, "I wanted to see what you were doing!" "Chase go in there and watch tv and leave me alone." This kid has gotten on my last nerve! He spots my bird and bee lines it to her cage. Before I can get out "Do NOT touch that cage! Step away from my bird!" He sticks his finger in her cage and he drew back a bloody finger! Then turns around and say "I'm telling my mommma!" Want me to dial the number you little brat!?!?!?!?!?!?! He runs into next room and shows Don what the bird done to him. Don laughs at him.

The next day, Sunday, they return. This time in tow is the brat and his good for nothing mother. I CAN'T STAND HER! I'm not going to sit there and entertain them. I have to clean bird cages, do laundry, cook dinner and other stuff. W/O my permission, the brat takes his mom into the birdie room while I was hanging clothes out. When i return to go sit with my birds, they are in there, and my bird is out of her cage and the door is open! I have TWO cats that stay inside. I asked "What the hell are you doing?" She said she wanted to see the bird. I told her she need to get the *&^% out that room and to leave my bird alone, better yet, get the *&^% out of my house! She showed me her finger and said, "see what it done." It's all bloody! And i'm like, you idiot you do not attempt to touch a bird you don't know much less stick ur hand in their cage! What were you thinking?! But instead I asked, "Then why did you let her out?" She just wanted to see it. Dang u can see her thru the cage. She tells me I'm not very friendly. I tell her, "Well no i'm not, your brat comes here yesterday, and before I could finish the statement, he stuck is finger back in the cage with the bird and she bit him again! good demonic bird, good girl! She tells me, "you need to do something about bird, it can't go around bitting people like that." I told her my bird was just fine, she needed to do something her brat cause he can't go around poking his finger in places it didn't belong! And to teach him some manners! And my bird was perfectly well behaved, she just knew when evil was around!" We were about to come to full heated argument when Don and Geoff asked what was going on. I told don he need to take his girlfriend and her son home because they were no welcomed in my home. If they can't respect me, my home & my rules when it comes to my pets, they can't be there and they should never ever return.

yes, he took them home and came back to apologize. I still have an outdoor cat missing. There were other issues that happened with this kid in my home. But I'm sure you all are sick of reading by now. But I have never been happier to see my IRN act out on her pitbull side! She bit him good! And he snatched it back on to make it hurt worse! sorry but he deserved what he got!

Ya know, if I had acted like that in someone's house when I was his age, my parents would have busted my behind! Yes, give me a FID over a kid anyday!

I hear ya! I have a few friends that I only see in public (good news is that you wait a decade or so and their kids are grown up and out of your way; bad news is you often have to listen to them complain about their children even then)

LOL - yes there are some kids who can be alot worse than fids! However - it depends totally on how the PARENTS raise them!!! My 6 yo daugther is a very sweet loving child - she has learned that she can only act bratty when at home and only in her own bedroom - so the rest of us don't have to listen or see it!! So when she feels the need she goes into her room shuts her door and beats the h--- out of her pillow!!
I feel it is all up to the parents as to how their children act - esp. in public!!!
Terri - your story is great - thanks for sharing that!! How is your birdy now that "devil boy" has been banished??? Have you found the cat yet? Who knew that one boy could cause so much damage??

Scarley was great this morning, she was loving and wanted love before I left at 5am. Jake the cat is still missing. He's around somewhere.

I had spent Friday with my friend Phyllis and her daughter Lamaya who is 8 yrs old. She is a doll! I was being fitted for a dress for Phyllis' wedding this summer, and she never once had to get onto her daughter for acting out, or being a brat. she did correct LaMaya once because she didn't didn't say , "yes ma'am."

i'd choose my birds over having kids, i think, and i'm only 24!!

sometimes i think it's be cool to have a baby, but birds are easier to look after, they're better behaved in public and you can lock them away if you need to.

why would you want a child??? lol..

naaaaah... maybe ONE DAY

hahaha, im dying over here!! why the heck would that dumb "mother" tell you to watch your bird, when her devil child is running around sticking his fingers in HER territory?? i would have kicked her out right then and there LMAO that kid is good birth control for me

at work, omg....you can totally see what kind of parents people are, the good ones tell their kids to clean up their messes and teach them to say please and thank you, those kids are nice to see :) but some parents....omg, they let their dogs pee all over the place, and they dont even clean it up!! then their kids run around screaming like annoying brats, dumping stuff on the floor without picking it up, as we are their maids or something, GRRR!!
