[Many Feathers]

This is just a quickie post to everyone I have been communicating with, to let you know I'm thinking about you, and enjoy reading the posts here, even if I dont have time to respond. Right now, I am busy trying to finish a project that I promised to someone a couple months ago, but put on hold, that is extremely time intensive. Between that, and my full time avian chores, I havent had a chance to do anything else the past few days. I temporarily posted pix of some of what I've been working on at http://www.many-feathers.com/Macaw-Feathers.htm. You can tell its not a commercial website by my little snippets of black humor and other personal commentary. If I were in business, I wouldnt dare do that.

BTW, People who know me, also know, I am not in the bird business and have never been. No where on the site devoted to my birds does it even indicate that I sell, or breed to sell, or anything even close. I still get a couple e-mails every week asking me for birds. Why? I have no clue. Some day I may share my opinion of the bird business, which is not a very favorable one. Let's put it this way, there is a big problem in this country with too many abused and/or unwanted birds. I wish more people would adopt adult birds that need love & attention, than look just for babies, that will eventually become adults, and after that possibly end up unwanted, too. A little education about this situation could go a long way. Several of the birds in my family, were unwanted birds, and I have purchased many more adults then babies, not just because I am breeding, but because they need a home too.
