BS"D

Methinks this fellow is going to regret his "flip" attitude. I serve on several environmental and household health advisory commisions. This fellow has managed to raise my dander. I can post (and will) the strict truth about this line of product, the toxin they bring into any home into which they are installed, not to mention his toxic attitude toward consumers. Since I have enought alphabet soup to go after my name, and since I have posting priviliges on all of the websites of the commisions upon which I serve, it seems that this fellow is going to have his truth brought out for a good measure of scrutiny.

herewith is a quote of my message to him: [quote] BS"D

Mr. D. Roberts,

Your astounding rude, arrogant, abusive & ignorant responses to people who have inquired about whether or not your products are coated with the poison teflon place you in a category of person not long for the business world.

To quote on of your ill-informed missives " Teflon is the most studied and tested product in America by the FDA and USDA . It’s been studied for over 30 years with no adverse affects to humans or animals." You must have missed the press releases over the last few months wherein Teflon is coming under scrutiny for causing a wide array of human ailments. Or perhaps you prefer not to let "pesky facts" get in the way of a good rant. Your attitude toward persons who live in California (one of the largest domestic markets for household appliances, by the way) speaks volumes .

Justly enough, it will be through the internet that a small amount of your comeuppance will be served. Many of us who are concerned about human health, and the attitudes of the companies that manufacture household appliances toward such, will, assidiously make certain that Californians who visit the consumer research sites will have the opportunity to see in your own words , in exactly how low of esteem they are held by you and your company. This will, I am certain have great bearing on their informed choice of brand to purchase.

By-the-by, the United States Department of Agriculture does no testing relating to materials or products involved in the manufacture of household appliances, cows yes, chickens certainly, livestock medications, of a certainty, ranges, microwaves, cooktops, no.

Sincerely,

Yehuda Ben-Shamai

P.S. For future reference, it is "sense", as in common sense, not "since"

Since I am a new bird owner I had many questions for my avian vet. And one I had asked her about was, should I get rid of all my teflon pans because of the bird. She said, "You should get rid of the Teflon pans for the health of the bird, and you shouldn't be eating anything off of them either!"
Pans were gone the next day, mostly because of the bird though :)

Great letter Yehuda! You are very articulate, not one of my stronger traits. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Mammalovesrico, It's great to find a vet that really knows and cares about birds! Good for you.

Here is the response that I received from Mr. Romley this morning, as well as the "apology" letter that has been sent to others as well.

Thanks for letting me know about this. I'm doing the best I can to help take away the anger surrounding this issue, but Dave keeps making it worse... Nonetheless, thank you for sending your email.

Kind Regards,

M-

Dear Mr. Romley,

Mr. Robert's so called flip remarks were not confined to just a single email. Here is another email dated at 9:20 am yesterday morning:

It would probably be wise to have someone take a good hard look at his outbox to access the damage. I have received hundreds of emails on this topic since yesterday, I can only imagine how many your company is receiving.

I am just thankful that I don't have to work for this guy!

Sincerely,

Jill Paulos (one of those so called far left California wacko's)

Kind Regards,

Jill,

I received the exact same email from Mr. Romely today.

What an Unprofessional Man!

WOW! What a JERK! For the ignorance of his statements alone, I would NEVER buy from that company!!! To take that a step further I will inform all my Birdie Friends to ban that Company...and I have LOTS of them!

He should really watch what he writes, he could end up in a NASTY lawsuit with someone someday. You NEVER know who is on the other end of your question.

I feel so bad for the individuals whom received those emails. They must have been horrified by this man's nasty attitude and unprofessional mannerism!

With that said, he lost my business and many others to come.

I removed the names and addresses and all (of the innocent people, not the CEO...I left that there :icon_twis) and copied it to an e-mail and forwarded it to everyone in my address book. A lot of my friends and family, lately, seem to be looking for new kitchenware, so I put the truth out there!
Oh that makes me so mad! And those people weren't preaching against teflon to him, they were WELL-MEANING POSSIBLE CUSTOMERS!! Grrrrrrr.... :eusa_wall
