Well, I just returned inside from shovelling. Got a nice path on the sidewalk for the kids to use on their way to school, and dug my car out. Needless to say, I'm tired, hungry and my back hurts.
Yep, it's time to move to a place that gets no snow, and stays on the warm side. Any suggestion would be welcome!! <smiles> ~don |

I am in New Jersey also. We got about 16inches of snow yesterday. It is really cooooold today! Luckily my birdies are inside and warm. Bubba keeps looking outside and yelling ..."SNOW!!!!" It is like he is alerting everyone. I think he doesn't believe anyone else realized it snowed yesterday and believes it is his job to let all know., (LOL). Everytime he does that Ziggy respondes with "OOOOHHHHH!!!". Like she is in total amazment! We are lucky that we still have power. It has flickered a few times, but (fingers crossed ), it is still on.
Stay warm everyone. Tiki and Josie thanks for the pictures of the flowers. Made me feel a little warmer. Betti, I am in Monmouth County also!!!! Regina... :eusa_danc |

I'm right along the shore area, (Toms River area) and we got a total of
about 12 inches. Yesterday and last night's snow was very wet and heavy, then later last night and into this morning it was much dryer and lighter. But it kept coming down until almost 11 AM this morning. I hear the major roadways are "ok" to drive on now, but side streets are pretty trecherous. The Usual. :icon_smil this picture below was just before sunrise this morning... we had 8-10 inches already. ![]() |

Good Lord, Savvy! I can't even BEGIN to imagine what it's like to live in cold, snowy weather! Yesterday in chat, the Canadians were also saying it was like 30 or 40 below...if I remember right! No THANKS! Give me the tropics anyday! Even if it DOES get too hot here sometimes!
