Tara, john from cincinnati was an hbo series about a disfunctional surfing family in imperial beach california, near san diego. they have a friend (al bundy from married with children) an ex cop named bill, with a nanday who communicats with him mentally, and he (the bird) did some miracles, like bringing the grandson, of the surfing family, back to life after being brain dead from a surfing accedent. at the begaining, i thought the bird (zippy), would be more of a main caractor than he really was, so i kept watching it. zippy wasnt in it as much as i'd hoped, but at the end the boy and zippy went missing (not together). they found the boy and at the end zippy flew back in bills window.. happy ending.
 this was the show that replaced the sopranos.
