Well you know the way things are now I am so glad that my kids are grown . Kids are not disiplined now by the parents because of the department of children and families and those ppl are ruining our kids by telling the parents we are not allowed to disipline their kids . One of my kids dared to talk back to me all I ever had to do was give them the evil eye and what is better known as the parking lot talk . Kids nowadays are spoiled ,self centered little houligans that do get away with murder . I cannot understand for the life of me why the dept of children and families cannot see this . It makes me sick .

I AM SOOOOOOO GLAD I CAN'T GET PREGNANT! AND I AM FINALLY OVER THE 'OOOH WHOA IS ME I CAN'T HAVE BABIES! I'm glad I can't! If I went to the dr today and he said I was pregnant, I would NOT be happy! I'd be amazed but NOT HAPPY! I'm not mother material to 2 legged kids! I couldn't do it now.

Its unbelievable.I would have no idea how to adress it if it was my kid either.Can you imagine what those kids will be like when their teenagers?

I don't believe it's fair to make a generalization about "kids nowadays" because of the actions of a few. I know a lot of kids and not one would I label a hooligan.

Also, "discipline" has different meanings to different people. I think your meaning here is physical punishment, something I am vehemently against for kids AND birds. It's better to discipline your kids without hitting them, with positive methods, just like it's better to train birds that way.

Hopefully I'm not causing too much drama here. I just think it's so interesting how many parallels there are between raising kids and raising birds. I'm glad to have the experience of raising a rambunctious little boy before I get my parrot!

OMG those kids are totally out of control!! it looks like we are gonna have to start changing some of the laws since kids are commiting such serious crimes earlier and earlier!! those sick little kids need to sit their butts in jail and have a long, hard think about the dumb stuff they wanna do!!

Yeah i heard that one this morning CRAZY! If they are going to do things like that then id bloody physically punish the hell outta them. If I had a kid that was involved in that they would be out on the streets in no time. Bugger having a psycho murderer kid in the house. I dont hit animals but i think i could whack a kid good. Esp. the ones that beat up other kids or hurt animals for no reason..I'd bring back the cane and then lets see how they play up. I was smacked and I think it has done me good, i have a friend who wasnt and she is the most spoilt brat and rude to her parents but i think its cos they never went through with their punishments. Hmm.....where was the school bully when this was happening???? It's something you see in a horror movie..Geez its a scary world.
