Unfortunately, yes, the story is absolutely 100% true. My uncle is a veteran of the worthless pyramid schemes. He has actually paid someone he doesn't know, upfront without a clue what the guy was trying to sell, mind you, for the opportunity to buy into something that doesn't exist. The guy tells him he has invented concentrated water, and that all my uncle has to do is get somemore people to give him money. Then my uncle will be a very rich man!
