Book Mooch

I joined BookMooch today cause I'm getting a small library going... The idea of BookMooch is to share your books with other people who are interested in reading the same books you have, and for you to be able to get books from other people to read them!

For every book you send out, you are allowed to get 1 book sent to you. For every ten books you offer, you get 1 extra point towards a book you can Mooch off of someone else. For every 10 comments you post to people you've recieved a book from (one comment per book), that's 1 extra point to another book you can get. Each book is 1 point.


If you send a book internationally, that's 3 points to you!

So what's the catch??? Just having to pay shipping and packaging on the books you send! That, and for every 2 books you receive, you must send out at least one!

I've listed 19 books thus far, which is 1.9 points! Two of those books have been requested, so if sent that's 2 points, making a total of 3.

9 points! I've already spent one point, looking for a book I'm interested in, and I can get 2 more books if I can find something else I'm interested in!

Cheaper than buying the books brand new, and although libraries are free, I save on gas! (don't mind the fact I don't own a car, let alone pay anyone gas money... LOL)
