when i was younger my buddy had large pen with a goat in it,that day i got two large Muscovy ducks,put him in open goat cage till i could take them home as wild ones,chased goat all over trying to mate with him,there things were dragging in sand as they chased him so no doubting of there intentions.might have fell in love with your dog.take care
