I'm back in FL and I have a new...

Grandchild! I got a call on Mother's Day late at night to get on a plane to Atlanta at 6AM because my new granddaughter was on the way! She was born on Monday at 3PM-3 weeks early. Isabella Esther was 6lbs1oz and 18 3/4", with all her healthy parts! The new family is doing very well considering the parents are sleep deprived, lol. I also got to visit with my other three grandchildren-that's 4 under 2 1/2! It's been an exciting few years....

Fortunately, I had made arrangements with friends and neighbors to take care of my fids and furrbabies the week of June 4th so we just moved up the schedule, lol. However, there were a few glitches-like I missed sending BIRDIEBREAD to the Raffle Table at the Raleigh Show-which I will be at next year, since my older daughter's family just moved to the area.

I also missed a FWCAS board meeting at which they decided that SALLY BLANCHARD will be speaking in Sarasota on Sept 6 & 7! I'm arranging for discounted group hotel rooms, etc. More info to follow!

Thanks for all your kind words! Isabella was the reason I didn't make the Raleigh Birdmart-she came 3 weeks early! Sure glad Emily (Freedomoflight) took all those great pictures!! BIRDIEBREAD will definitely be there next year!
