Exclamation

Folks- it's real simple, just read the question, it says there are 7 girls on the bus, that means there are 14 legs on the bus.......Duh!

It only says that they own the back packs with all those stupid cats, it doesn't say anything to the fact that they brought them on the bus with them, it simply states that they have them.

at least that is how I see it..........LMB

ya still need some one to drive the bus, hopefully with legs to operate the peddles. or is one of the girls driving. it doesnt say how old they are, or if its a school bus, or a city bus.

There has to be a trick....

Well it does say in the bus....I was going to saying that a bus has tires, not legs;

You said there was no driver, so we are not off by two;

I am going to assume these human girls, without any injuries or spare appendages, so the two legs per girl is correct and make a similar assumption for the cats, so four legs per cat -- large or small is correct;

Are we correct in assuming the seven kittens are each with their parent? It says there are seven big cats in every bag and that they each have seven little cats, but not that they are in the bag with their respective big cat;

Of course, we also don't know if there is anyone else on the bus except the girls with the cats....(and no driver)

I dunno....I used to take my seven cats to the vet at once and that was plenty of trouble...without backpacks, kittens and school kids

"There are 7 girls in a bus.
7 x 2 = 14 legs

Each girl has 7 backpacks.
7 x 7 = 49 backpacks

In each backpack, there are 7 big cats.
7 x 49 = 343 big cats
343 x 4 = 1372 legs

For every big cat there are 7 little cats."
343 x 7 = 2401 little cats
2401 x 4 = 9604 legs

Question: How many legs are there in the bus?
14 + 1372 + 9604 = 10,990

There are 10,990 legs in the bus

What I want to know is who is the brave genius that loaded the backpacks....
A tad over loaded...

LOL! Anybody here want to try to shove just the 2401 little cats (let alone 7 big cats) into a backpack???

Me?
Not even if you gave me stainless steel gauntlets!!!
