Question for Aussies!

I know you all have some different names for stuff. Like our mustangs are your Brumbies and a woman is a sheila ect ect so................

I have a nice outback duster and a water buffalo hat ( like living in waterproof land,lol)
what do you call those in Australia - mine are both actually from Australia where as hubbys are from China ,lol.Do you call the coat a "drover"?? what about my hat??

Akubra is an aussie hat so maybe thats the hat....argh i think i know what that coat is....drizabone are the waterproof coat things...if thats what your talking about?? If thats the thing then thats what we call them drizabone and akubra.

It is a Drizabone brand but I figured you would have just a name for "rain coat" lol The hat is made By Outback Survival Gear. i think they have a .com

Yep I was with you to start with Courtney LOL. It was "Huntress you have a what"??? A duster??? It's funny how different we are - even western countries that speak the same language. I agree probably would be drizabone and akubra.

Then what is a DROVER? Ive heard them called Drover coats before. My hat is water buffalo...is that still akubra? How do you pronounce that
