Thurston Classic Hot Air Balloons
We went and checked out the Thurston Classic Hot Air Balloon Show last night What an awesome sight to see close up! Here are just a few of the pics I took.
  My husband and daughter both have the striped shirts on..   Boy is that flame hot!   Since this one is my favorite I posted a closer up one of it!

They said it takes 1 1/2 hr in either inflate or deflate the sun balloon! They also said I could volunteer to be on the crew if I wanted to next year! I would love to go up in one as part of the crew. I am seriously considering it!

Cool pictures. I have always wanted to go to one of those events but it never seems to pan out. They do something similar up in Glens Falls/Queensbury every year but I have yet to make it.
It sure would be tempting to volunteer for crew for a ride. It's got to be beautiful.

They have balloon rides about half an hour from me in the Yarra Valley. They are great to watch fly, but it must have been amazing to see their size up close. Yes, the sun made me laugh hehe- imagine seeing it up in the sky!

Always wanted to do a hot air balloon ride, i hear New Mexico has some big ballon festivity every year....

I've been in a hot air ballon :) It was fun and beautiful!!!! (if you ever get a chance to go up, GO!!)
On cold mornings you can see the hot air baloon over the mountain behind my house :)
