i went snowboarding yesterday!
and i loved it!
the closest snow to us is like 4 hours away, so it was a massive trek to get there and we woke up at 4am!!! anyway it was my first time seeing snow since i was like 10 and only the second time in my life. it was wet and cold and windy and i fell over a lot, but it was awesome! anyone else here a fully sick snowboarder like me? LOL

I tried snowboarding myself once, and I can't count the number of times I fell! LOL.
We get snow for about half of the year, it seems. Winter is waaaay too long in Minnesota!

our snow season is max 4 months, and at least four hours away... it's awful thats why i never go! plus this year they've had to make a lot of the snow themselves. it's pretty cool how they cn do that. they have a snowflake factory!!
i fell over so much though, but found it hilarious every time i did, so i think i was born to be a little snow bunny. everytime i face planted into the snow i'd put out my arms to stop me from breaking my face and now my upper arms and shoulders are hurting! everyone's going up again this weekend without me and i have to work!! it sucks. my friend ski's and i dunno, i just find skiing so eighties LOL snowboarding is where the cool kids are at. :P

OH YUK - I had to see if this thread was for real,lol. Is it winter in Australia? I waited for ever for summer to get here.

It snowed an hour from melbourne once! Closest it'll get probably, it's too wet here lol. It's funny you went snowboarding in the mountain area I went holidaying like the day before.

oh i love hot days too! but snow is fun!!
mel you should come with us next time we go! it's super fun!i want to go on tuesday, all the lifts are open and it's half price!
