Peekabo??? Hey, I'm BAA-A-A-AACK!!!!!!

Sorry all that I have been away for a week.... I was going to tell everyone of my plans though things changed at the last moment and then in the following week I was unable to get easy internet access so here I am now, back already, sort of, just so you all will know of why I might have been absent!

On the 22nd of Feb, we left 2 or 3 hours ahead of schedule to San Francisco. We had to pick up someone along the way though we left early to ensure that we could get to SF on time and so that our trip would not be longer that it would have to be. We arrived at the F airport around 1:30am and left on a flight to Maui at 9:30am. I was awake for 26 hours until 6am that morning where I ended up passing out for a good two hours, though hardly any on the plane (such as no more than 3-5 mins) though sadly to say I had 'caught up' on my sleep the following two nights and the nights following were less than 'perfect' as I had hoped... Anyway, on the 29th of Feb we got to the airport around 8something pm, had to repack some of the luggage, check bags in (we decided not to do the general check-in but rather have the guys outfront do this for us). Thankfully, I had made a good choice as our plane, was leaving early, or atleast it was to us. I got back into SF at 5:10am, and after gathering luggage we came to the Wingate Hotel (where we reserved a room upon return, and left the car). This is currently where I am waiting for the other's naps to finish...

In Maui I had the chance to see some wild mitred conures, and although time was permitting at one time, we could not find the way to where they were so had missed the chance (even though we didn't have much time to begin with since we left the hotel a couple hours too late for when we probably should have left) though it didn't bother me much. I was able to view captive parrots, had an amazon take a liking to me, and got to be nibbled on by 3 mischevious sun conure chicks, even had my eyelashes and eyebrows preened by a sweet baby cockatiel! Anyway, now that I am in SF, we have hopes in searching out and finding the famous wild parrots of telegraph hill, and possibly having a chance to view the movie! We just need to find a place that plays it. Before our trip I had the information as to where the birds and a movie would be at though had left the information. I can however easily get this again so that wont be hard.

Well, just wanted to get on and check to see how things are going since everyone else is taking a nap and I am the only one awake....

Actually, it was less than good. Yes, there were a bit of fun as in when we went snorkeling in the Coral Gardens only because we could not go to Molokini where Turtle Town is, so we also went lookin for whales on that trip with little success... When the boat did turn however to head back to harbor, a gush of water sprayed up onto anyone that was on the front deck or upper deck and the wind was a nice rush, though what was good and fun was few and far between... Actually, it didn't really seem like my heart or spirit was in the trip even though I had so longed to wish to visit another place... Of course then again I probably played one of the major roles in 'busboy' carrying just about anything and everything...

Needless to say, the person whom we picked up along the way became a snotty ****, well, I'm sure you know... she was pissed that she couldn't do what she wanted when she wanted, started ignoring us and talking to her friend cheerfully over the phone. It did become a slight mess, though needless to say I'm glad I am home on the mainland and in some way whish I hadn't gone at all....
