Happy 2nd birthday birdboard! Cheers to everyone in here. I love talking to everyone here. Since I've joined, BirdBoard has occupied an average of three hours of my day everyday since...and I love it! Thanks for all the info, replies, opinions and laughs!

I've been here since day two of the original Birdboard and I can attest that its "come a long way, baby". Sometimes floundering and lost, it always seems to straighten up and get its legs.

This year has seen many improvements. We have lots of first time bird owners who have come to depend on the information exchanged and the friendships forged on this great board. This has become one of the most civilized and certainly nicest boards on the internet. I've been on a few that were absolutely awful, full of mean-spirited trolls and bored brats. Not so here. If we can each remember how we felt the first time we asked a question, and respond kindly and thoughtfully, this board will continue to grow. Its a safe place to come and learn. That's very important.

Congratulations Keev, KevinB and of course the Mods who volunteer their time to keep things running smoothly.Having my own group, I know how hard it is to find that special person with right amount of knowledge and good people skills. We have a great team here. I am very grateful.

I can't wait to celebrate our 10 anniversary. That's the mark of a GREAT board.

I too am fairly new here at Birdboard but definately raise my glass and second mamlovesrico....I too have become addicted!!! I have come to admire many people here including but definately not limited to....mamlovesrico...outlaw...graehstone....elliem ae....thank~you to all of you who have been so gracious and patient....I have always felt welcomed!!! :eusa_clap My new baby TAG will have a better start thanks to all of you who so unselfishly share your knowledge. Happy Birthday Birdboard! I have been here since Sept 2003 (still have the original invitation somewhere in my archives). I too have met some amazing people on this board and learned that I am not the only crazy bird lady in the world! It is so difficult to find people you have something in common with, I don't know how people managed before the internet. Bird clubs are often full of breeders who are more interested in the commercial aspects of bird breeding and don't have the love for their fids like we do. I know I can always find someone here who understands me and doesn't think I am nuts!

I never thought I could get so attached to people whom I have never met in person.....but I have thanks to this board!

I was here within the first week of birdboard... then got lost for awhile while I got married, then my dad got sick.... It drew me back though, and I'm here to stay. Happy Birthday Birdboard!
