Kevin:

I've got a room ready and you missed some pretty fair eats. I made a turkey for Friday and my famous spaghetti on Saturday. We had iced cinammon buns and coffee for dessert on Friday and cheesecake last night. Saturday morning was banana pancakes. You could do a lot worse.

I would just like to say that I only got to spend about 2 hours with the girls but they are the creme of the crop. We had a great time and they even got to poke fun at my driving. What more could you ask for. I look forward to getting to know them even better in the coming years!!!!!!!! Barb

Home safe and sound, and tired!
I had a delightful time visiting (the little bit that we did) with Nancy, Barb, and Teresa. Nancy is a WONDERFUL cook, and we gained 10 pounds by the time we left. You couldn't ask for a better place to stay; Nancy greeted us with open arms and a wonderful, warm heart!
Both fids did well on the trip home from Nancy's; they were busy watching each other in their carriers! On the trip back to Florida "Tinkerbell" was such a good girl! I stopped mid-way through the trip and let her out to stretch her wings.
Tinkerbell has been nothing been a delight this evening. My hubby absolutely loves her. Of course Elwoodblue was the only one who really took notice of her - he did his head bobbing, eyes pinning, and his excited yell.
This was a long, long trip (I went through 8 states in 3 days), but oh so worth it. I met a few of the wonderful people of birdboard and came home with a beautiful baby - who could ask for more than that?

Laurie,

I'm happy to hear that you and Tinkerbell made it home safely. I wish the 2 of you (and the rest of you flock) the best of luck.
